The two maps show the vital changes which have taken place in Central Park over a period of 30 years.
Overall, it it clear that the park has become a much more entertaining, additionally having new stage, museum and cafe.
The most interesting change that is visible is altering the flower garden to a smaller area for the new stage and the museum of local history. In 1990, children’s play area was spacious but it reduced in later years. Another remarkable change is that the entrance of the park is now in the east, which was in the south before.
Now taking a look at the northeast area, toilets have been moved to the southwest corner of the park and instead of that, the new museum have been placed there. The major thing that must be said here that there was a telephone booth and two shops in the south, which was replaced by a cafe, with only one shop remaining. Altogether, it can be seen that Central Park in now able to offer more entertainment than before.
