The two maps clearly depict Norbiton’s current industrial map and its planned layout for the future. As we compare both maps, it is quite evident that the current map only contains factories which will eventually be replaced by houses. There’s also a plan to include a medical center, shops, school, and playground.
In the future plan, the roads are extended from the junction on the north and north-west sides. The road in the north cuts through the river to connect with the housing area, which is currently farmland. Houses are distributed all across the area, including on the east and west, east and north-west side of the junction.
There’s also an interesting addition of shops and medical center on the south-east and south-west. The school is also planned at the end of the road on the east side. The town is also made vibrant by adding a playground on the north, just above the housing area.
