The given maps compare the current features of an industrial area in the Norbiton town with its future development planning. Overall, it is clear that the factories that located on the site will be completely replaced by housings and other residential amenities.
Currently, there are three factories around the roundabout and five others surrounding the path goes to the east. The farmland across the river occupies the whole area of the north side. In the future, factory premises in the east will be replaced by apartments and a school. A playground is also planned to the north of the path near the river that can be accessible from the path.
A new road will be introduced to the west of the site which will lead the few other housings. Few shops and a medical center are also planned to be located around the center circle. The farmland on the north will be shrinked to accommodate another residential building which will be accessible across a bridge. A second roundabout will be developed in the south which will meet the main road.
