The two maps illustrate the main changes which took place in the town of Hillingford 2000 and in 2015.
Overall, the city of Hillingford became more residential, entertaining, and accessible at the expense of woods, fields, market, some houses and previously unoccupied areas. The shops, café, some houses and school were remained unchanged.
The city started offering a wide range of residential buildings. The old country house on the northwest of corner was replaced by hotel, and housing and flats were built in a place previously occupied by trees and fields. The residential area in the near of the harbour was converted into bed and breakfast. The housing which was located between the green areas and school underwent minimal changes.
Leisure facilities in Hillingford improved significantly over the last 15 years. Several recreational facilities, including tennis courts, playground and restaurants, were added to the town, and the old market which was the opposite of the green area was replaced a new supermarket. Finally, shops and café remained relatively stable.
Transport facilities in the town developed with constructing a new train station which was located in the north of the town. The school in the east and the coastal features stayed much the same.
