The images illustrate the changes that will take place in Islip town center in the years to come.
In terms of overall transformations, the Islip town center will become more accessible and residential, with the addition of dual carriageways, pedestrian roads, bus stations, shopping centers, car park areas, and new housing in place of old elements like shops and main roads.
The Islip town center will go through significant alterations in the future. Shops, for example, at the top of the map will be cleared to make room for the bus station, shopping center, car park, and new housing. Moreover, the main road positioned on the lower side of the shops will be removed to make way for the pedestrian road. Despite these changes, the second shops in the middle of the Islip town center will stay the same in their initial position. Furthermore, housing and new housing will be located southernmost site in a previously empty area. Parks, in particular, situated on the right-hand side will be enlarged. In spite of these transformations, schools and housing at the bottom of the map will retain their original center. Finally, the Islip town center will be surrounded by the dual carriageway.
