The maps below illustrate the layout of a library as it was in 1975 and how it has changed now.

Overall, there have been some modifications to the library, with the significant ones being the addition of a coffee zone, sofas, study area and tables.

Upon entering the center to the top of the library, in 1975 people accessed via stairs and in the present, there has been no change to the entrance. Moreover, there has been new wheelchair access. In the middle of the library, there were only bookshelves, but now it has been removed to make space for a wide range of amenities. A new coffee area and sofas have been added on the left-hand side of the library and study area and tables have appeared on the opposite side.

Regarding the remaining part of the library, bookshelves at the bottom left-hand corner will remain untouched. In addition, toilet area and children’s book, which was adjacent to the bookshelves to the right, have remained unchanged.
