The given pictures illustrate the way in which the layout of the ground floor in an art gallery has changed since 2015 for renovation purposes.
Looking at the illustration, it is immediately evident that some old features have been still there, whereas others such as the gallery office have all gone. Additionally, over the period from 2015 to now, the place has undergone number of dramatic changes in terms of facilities with the introduction of new features such as the vending machines.
The entrance remained unchanged, and so have the three rooms for exhibitions. Additionally, the gallery office has been demolished to make way for new vending machines, also, the exhibition room 4 was divided into temporary exhibition and an area for children’s interaction, as well as a gallery shop has replaced the position of Cafe and shop.
By that year, changes has been made to other features, the most noticeable of which was the relocation of receptionist and entrance hall, which have been moved a little upper of the floor. The stairs that lead to the upper floor was expended and divided into staircase and a lift, and so have the steps adjoining the entrance, which was cut down for a ramp to wheelchairs. However, the cafe and shop have been abbreviated to make way for stairs.
