The given maps illustrate the changes in the at gallery ground floor between 2015 and today.
Overall, it is clear that the primary changes to the art gallery isthe addition of new modern facilities and the rearrangment of receptionist space. Also, many rooms and stairs remain unchanges over the period.
In 2015, along right hand side wall of the gallery was three exhibition rooms. which is located together. In the middle of the layout was a receptionist area, which situated in front of stairs. Also, in the left hand side of the art gallery, there was a cafe,which located beside the stairs and a gallery office space occupied opposite the reception area. Moreover, another exhibition room called” room 4″ is located on the left corner of the layout. In the southern of the building was an entrance,which is used to welcome visitors to entrance hall.
In the present, three exhibition room situated in the east remain unchanged over the period, while the stairs is shrinked to make more space for a new modern facility such as a lift. Also, the cafe shop has been removed and the gallery has been rearranged to replace the position of the old cafe area and also a vending machine is installed in this office. Furthermore, the exhibition four is replaced by two new area, including a temporary exhibition and an area which is used to serve children. According to the middle of the layout, the receptionists space and entrance hall are moved to near the entrance in order to make more spacious space to move. Latsly, a new ramp for wheelchair is built beween children’s area and the main entrance.
