The maps depict the layout of Templeton Seaside Resort in 1990 and illustrate the changes in the layout following the transformation in 2005. Overall, the resort experienced significant industrialisation and modernization following the construction of a factory and modern apartment blocks. It is also evident that the improvement in transportation enhanced the accessibility to the Templeton resort.
In 1990, there was a river flowing from west to east at the bottom of the map and another from north to south in the middle, which divided the map into two distinct parts. The two parts were connected by two roads running from west to east. To the left of the map were houses and an apartment block and a lake at the top, while the second half contained a school, hospital, parking lot, and railway station, with a railway run alongside the far eastern area. A number of trees were scattered throughout the landscape.
By 2005, the Templeton seaside resort had become more industrialized and accessible following the improvements. Several apartment blocks were built in the western part of the area, and a newly constructed supermarket satisfied the needs of the locals. Meanwhile, a factory was built just above the river in the eastern area. A new railway was constructed above the river from west to east, connecting the two regions. Moreover, the construction of a port in the east and an airport in the south enhanced the accessibility to the resort.
