The provided maps illustrate the developments that take place in Meadowside and a neighboring town of Fonton. The maps show the areas in three periods: 1962, 1985 and the present.
Overall, the rural area of Meadowside to be converted into suburbs with Fonton. Furthermore, changes were implemented to improve railways, housing and infrastructure over the period given.
In 1962, the towns were completely separated from each other, while Fonton had a rail line from south-east to north-east and Meadowside had a road from south-west to north-east.
By 1985, both areas had experienced dramatic change in size. The first road which was renovated in Meadowside had a leisure complex, superstone and housing next to it. Additionally, there was a road which connected two areas.
Currently, Meadowside and Fonton have joined and the empty place used to be between them was filled by new infrastructure, such as a hotel and train station to the north and business park to the south. Moreover, a train station has been added next to the road with a new one connecting to the old one.
