The two maps illustrate the layout of the city called Lynnfield from 1936 to 2007
To begin with, one interesting change occurred was building shopping centre in the center of Lynnfield town in 2007. Meanwhile, in the same area there used to be sweet and butcher shop which were next to each other, had been replaced by supermarket while post office remained the same by 2007. Similarly, the cycle path in 1936 was turned into road, and trees were cut down to make space a lot wider.
Furthermore, by 2007, travel agent had taken the place of flower shops, while government offices were converted into museum. Additionally, farmland, which was next to authority offices, was demolished and constructing of new golf course had taken its place. Finally, river area had been transformed into residential place for individuals
Overall, it is vividly manifested that a significant changes have been occurred. From sweet shop, flower shop, river, cycle path, and official buildings has been turn into supermarket, travel agents, road and residential areas. Whilst, post office was remained unchanged.
