The two maps delineate the layout of a beachfront in Australia in the year 1950 and its changes in the present plan.
Overall, the beachfront has witnessed several transformations, notably with the extension of the road and the addition of the restaurant and sporting amenities.
In 1950, there was a road connected the city on the left side, which located on the top of the map with its only right bend to the car park. Additionally, there were a playground, a dining table and a pavilion to the left side along the bottom of the road. The beach is located at the bottom of the plan, with two pools and a lighthouse to the top of it. These three amenities stretched across the beach, with 50m pool on the left, 25m pool in the middle and the lighthouse on the right side.
Thereafter, the playground is eliminated, creating space for another car park with its small road connected to the main one. Moreover, the restaurant is added to the top-left corner of the beach, while two surf clubs are established to the top of two pools. Finally, the lighthouse is now accessible from the road with it large right bend.
