The two maps compare the layouts of a beachfront in Australia as they were in 1950 and now.
Overall, it is obviously seen that the area has been more recreational and less rural by now. It is also noteworthy fact that in north the most significant alteration was an erection of car park , whilst it is springing up surf club to the south. Moreover, the only parts left untouched have been dining tables, pavillion, car park and 25m pool with lighthouse in the southern edge.
Delving into details ,in 1950 there used to be a playground in the north-west which now has been replaced with a car park involving the road to it. Plus, a dining room coupling with pavillion existed next to the playground and they have not been changed so far. Surprisingly, the car park did not undergo any alterations as well.
Moving to changes taken place in southern side , there was a space in a venue where a sprawling restaurant as well as tiny surf club have been constructed by now. Also , 25m pool has been broadened to that of 50m pool. In addition, one more surf club has just appeared between 25m pool and lighthouse which have kept their state unaltered. On top of that, the road ending at the doorstep of the car park now can be also seen in the south-east.
