Overall, the building witnessed notable transformations, evolving from a compact and straightforward structure to a rather well-designed and modern place. The key changes include the introduction of automatic book borrowing and private study desks, the removal of the library office and the relocation of bookshelves. Despite these significant reconfigurations, the access to the library largely remained intact.
In detail, the area featured a simple layout with the southern part of the library occupied by bookshelves adjoining the library office in the bottom-right corner, while the other two were located along the western and northern sides. There were 3 study tables in the central part, being opposite to the book borrowing and returning section. The opportunity for computers with desks was supplied to the readers along the eastern wall, reaching to the top-right corner of the map.
The present structure of the library comprises far more modern facilities, the notable one being the introduction of 6 groups of private study desks at the expense of tables right in the middle of the area. Along the western side, automated book borrowing facilities were created so as to provide more flexible and authentic book exchange. Newly added desks for student laptops just to the right-hand side of the entrance were flanked by the other tables provided for student use on the eastern wall.
