The pictures illustrate the modifications that have occurred in a university library since 2005. Overall, the area has undergone substantial development with the introduction of automated book borrowing, bookshelves and desks for student laptops.
In 2005, the university library offered a limited number of amenities. There were bookshelves at the left and top of the library and on the right upon entering, while top-left of them were formed a continuous L-shape. Moreover, some desks were located at the top-right corner with computers, neighboring a library office at the bottom-left corner. Furthermore, some study tables occupied the center, while there was an offline book borrowing next to the desks.
However, significant changes have taken place in the area since then. One of the most notable modifications is the automated book borrowing which is replaced with bookshelves at left of the library, while the bottom bookshelves, desks with computers and library office were replaced by desks for laptops. And also, study tables and offline book borrowing have been removed to make way for private study desks. The bookshelves have remained in their original position at the top of the library.
