Overall, it is evident that the beachfront has undergone considerable transformations, particularly in terms of infrastructure development, leisure options, and convenience with the addition of a new restaurant, car park as well as sport facilities—surf clubs.
In 1950, access to the beachfront was provided via a road extending from the city to the left-hand side of the map and ending a small car park. A playground was situated at the bottom of the road with dining tables and pavilions in close proximity. The lighthouse stood on the east side of the beach, which was flanked by two pools—one on each side.
By comparison, the present-day layout of the beachfront shows extensive modernization. The road has been extended to the lighthouse, while a new car park has been built at the bottom of the road where the playground once stood. A restaurant has been constructed on the left-hand side of the map in a previously empty area. Two surf clubs have been added to both the right and left side of the beach. Despite these changes, several original features have been preserved, including the dinning tables, the pavilions, both pool, and the lighthouse.
