The maps illustrate the modernisation of the town of Fosbury between 1980 and 2015. Generally speaking, the neighborhood underwent major changes, including the introduction of a roundabout in its central area and the reduction of its green landscape. Furthermore, more industrial facilities and residential areas were added to the area.
In the Western side of the neighbourhood, the row houses to the North remained untouched while the park below which was relocated to the right and reduced in size to make room for two rows of terraced houses. Looking at the South, the initially tennis courts were incorporated into a sports center, which is next to the newly built car park by 2015.
Moving to the Eastern area, the most notable change is the tearing down of the field to the South, which was replaced by a large warehouse in 2015. To the North, the new car park necessitated the relocation of the old terraced houses in 2015, and the Grocery store was converted into a new supermarket located right below the new parking lot. Meanwhile, the hotel opposite remained unchanged, but the department block was knocked down in 2015.
