The map shows changes in waterfront section of a city within years. Overall, we can observe that this area has become more suitable for living, a hotel, apartment buildings and parks have been built there through years.
As a result of development project in the north-west there are pleasure boat marinas instead of demolished container ship pierces. There were formerly factories in the west and south of the city, one of them has been removed and converted to a park, another one has become an apartment building.
Two another factories in the east have been also converted into apartments. Meanwhile, office center has been built and can be found in the south-east of the city. Near the harbour, in the west, there were 3 warehouses before the development project. After reconstruction we can see only one hotel here. In order to continue for the comfort of life in the city, another park has been built in the north-east of the city.
To conclude, throughout years city has changed under the program of development. Nevertheless, ferry terminal has not undergone changes at all. This project provided more territory suitable for people’s comfortable life. As stated in project’s name, city has changed significantly.
