The maps illustrate the developments that occurred in a library between 2000 and the present time.
Overall, it is evident that the bookstore underwent significant development, characterized by the construction of new amenities such as a small café corner and the strategic relocation of key infrastructure, like the Art, Hobbies, Cookery, and Non-fiction genres. Despite these changes, it is noteworthy that no existing infrastructure was removed during this transformation.
Looking at the map in more detail, in 2000, the library was wholly devoted to study. After entering the library, the readers could see the travel books section just opposite of the entrance. The service desk, located in the bottom right corner, was in close proximity to the new books and nonfiction. Passing the new books, visitors could discover three more different shelves filled with art, hobbies, and cookery books. However, most of the library was occupied by fiction books.
At present, the layout of the store has modernized with notable changes. The travel, service desk and new books remain in the same position. Meanwhile, a new café corner and three tables have been set up by clearing three shelves and nonfiction. At the same time, non-fiction is relocated to the far left corner, replacing the fiction section. Those three shelves such as Art, Hobbies, and Cookery are immediately adjacent to the fiction genre. Now, visitors can read books while enjoying their coffee.
