The two given diagrams describe how the ground floor of a museum develops from 1950 to present. Overall, this site has undergone significant changes, with the increase in area, the disappearance of the courtyard, and the addition of facilities.
Starting from the main entrance, a large sculpture, situated in the facade of the floor, still remains unchanged. However, the most striking change is that the courtyard within the back area of a museum has disappeared to make room for other amenities. Australian Art, originally located exactly to the right of the entrance, has been shifted backwards, while an Australian Aboriginal Art exhibit is recently constructed adjacent to that. There has been a newly built Asian Art, being erected at the former site of Australian Art. All of those developments has taken place as opposed to the constancy of the Early and Middle European Art.
Another important change is the appearance of a new Children’s art school at the left corner of the building. In front of it are two rooms: a toilet and a cafe. Despite being changed significantly, a Temporary Exhibition and a Bookshop still stay the same.
