The bar charts illustrate how many humans in cities and countrysides struggled with several types of pollution during 2007.
Overall, in both places the traffic had detrimental consequences on a majority of people’s well-being,particularly during the day. However, in rural areas the impact of other kinds of noise pollution was negligible, also the industry did not have any effects on a person.
In details, in European cities, during the day 68 millions of people stayed in a traffic where they breathed carbon dioxide spread by cars, while this indicator fell to 48 millions of individuals at night. However, as it is clear from the picture, the impact of harmful car emissions in rural areas was almost twice as low during both day and night.
Surprisingly, the difference between first and other kinds of noise pollution was so significantly despite the location where a person lived. Land and air vehicles in destinations far from megapolises affected around 8 millions during the day and 6 millions at night compared to cities where it made up 10 millions and 8 millions relatively. Additionally, the influence of manufacturers on citizens’ healt was negligible in both areas.
