Delving into specifics, in total, 48,000 people participated in a wildlife survey in 2001 and this number grew consistently to 364,000 until 2005. Thereafter, the number of participants witnessed a slight decrease which was followed by an upward trend, reaching a peak at 540,000 in 2009.
As for adult and children participants, they mostly adhered to a rising trend, starting in 2001 at 36,000 and 12,000, respectively. For the next four years, the former group skyrocketed to 332,000 and the latter almost tripled to 32,000. By 2009, the number of young attendees had increased constantly to 270,000 equalizing adult participants number.
