The amount individuals engaged in part-time employment in Wales recorded the highest percentage of part-time workers, with approximately 30% in 1980 and slightly increasing to about 35% in 2010. England showed rising from around 25% in 1980 to just more than 30% in 2010.
Scotland saw the most significant growth, the percentage of part-time staff nearly doubled, jumping from just 10% in 1980 to almost 20% in 2010. Conversaly, Norhtern Ireland opposite trend. The percantage of part-time workers in Northern Ireland experienced minimal declining trend from roughly 15% in 1980 by about 2% in 2010, making it the country with the lowest percentage by the end of the period.
