The diagram gives detailed information of the three stages in wasted glass bottles recycling process.
There are three stages in the recycling process: reclaim, remake and reuse. Among the three stages, the second stage includes several significant steps for the remaking of new glass bottles.
The first stage and the third stage are comparatively simple. During the first stage, wasted glass bottles are reclaimed in several collection points, they will be transported to the remaking factories by trucks from these points. On the other hand, in the third stage, the newly manufactured glass bottles will be bottled with beverages before sent to supermarkets or stores, at which they are ready for sale.
Among the three stages, the second stage is the core stage, in which several steps are included. At first, high-pressure water will be used to clean the wated glass bottles, and after this step, bottles will be seperated by three different colors. In the second step, bottles will be broke into glass pieces in glass factories. As the third step, glass pieces will be heated into liquid glass in furnace under the temperature from 600C to 800C. It is the last step that recycled liquid glass and new liquid glass will be shaped in glass mould and marked as the end of the remaking of new glass bottles.
