The presented graph illustrates renewable energy consumption in the six countries: Finland, Denmark, France, Germany, Unated States, and United Kingdom enumerating the total energy in the period from 1971 to 2006.
Overall, three countries such as Finland, Denmark, and USA experienced fluctuations, while other three countries (France, Germany, and UK) showed increased emissions without any oscillations over this period. Finland was the country which was in the first place over the given period, whereas UK was the country that used the least amount of renewable energy.
At the beginning of the data Finland’s utilization accounted for 25% being equal to its lastest results. Even though it showed the same result at the end of the data, it fluctuated quite frequently. In contrast, Denmark increased its renewable energy consumption over this period starting from 15% and finishing by approximately 18%. However Denmark’s energy consumption increased even with fluctuations; US replaced its second place at the end of the data. As Finland and Denmark USA also experienced noticeable fluctuations; however, USA showed dramatic rise starting over zero to under 20%.
Moving to countries where fluctuation doesn’t appear notably, France was used less than 10% of total renewable energy sources. Although the amount of France’s usage grew until 1981, it plummeted over 3 following years. After, France became one of the countries that use renewable energy more than others accounting for just under 15%. Another country that had not any oscillating of its data is Germany. Germany steadily used 5% of the given energy over three years. Then, this country reduced use of renewable energy for a year that was the only collapse of its line. At the end Germany showed under 15% remarkably. It is worth noting that UK always been at the below of the information, even though the country grew annually without minor slips. Starting from almost zero percentage UK’s energy consumption became more than 5%.
