The picture diagram illustrates about the steps in the process of cherry jam, how cherry jam is manufactured.
It can be seen that there are 9 stages in the process starting with collecting cherries and ending with labeling it.
The process commences when a sheet is spread on the ground and the tree is shaked to get the cherries. In the stage following that, the cherries are collected and are transported to the processing plant. Before the cherries are washed, the leaves and stems are removed. This is where the stone is taken out of the middle of the cherry.
After this stage is completed, the cherries are cooked and extra ingredients such as sugar, pectin and lemon juice are added, which is then the quality of jam is checked. Then the jam is put into jars. Finally, a label is stuck on the jars.
