The pie chart below provides information about the number of household spending patterns in UK and New Zealand from 1980 to 2008. Five categories are presented, including food and drink, utility bills, transport, leisure and other.
In 1980, in both countries food and drink show the highest numbers of users in UK and New Zealand with 23% and 29%. The percentages of users transport, utility bills and other were similar in two countries and differ 1-2 from each others, while leisure household spending petterns was more popular in UK with 27%, while in New Zealand it was 18%.
In 2008, percentages of some categories were changed a lot, for example leisure patterns were 34%, while in New Zealand it were half as much. Food and drink too shows changes with 13% and 25% persentages. Other categories show almost similar numbers.
Overall, leisure patterns show the most rises and declines in both countries, while other patterns remained stabe.
