Overall, it is noticeable that Sweden and United Kingdom mainly use underground method to manage their waste, while recycling is the most common way in Republic of Korea. We can see that United Kingdom does not use recycling despite being one of the most developed countries.
Looking more specifically at, underground disposal makes up the largest method of waste products in the United Kingdom and Sweden, comprising 82% and 55% respectively, while it is only second highest proportion in the Republic of Korea with 22%. The least utilised method for managing hazardous waste in all three countries, accounting for 9% in Korea, 20% in Sweden and just 2% in the UK.
United Kingdom use dumping at sea and chemical treatment for utilise production wastes with 8% of each, however, Republic of Korea and Sweden do not use these methods. But Korea and Sweden recycle mainly part of their waste. In details, recycling disposal system of waste in Korea contains 69%, which is the highest proportion and 25% in Sweden. But UK does not utilise their products by this method.
