The graphs give information about the major countries which produce and consume coffee and where it’s profit goes.
Overall, it can be said that, South America is the major exporter of coffee whereas Oceania is the least. Conversely, Central America represents as a largest consumer while Japan the smallest. The shippers are the ones who receive the most profit amoung explorers, producers and sellers.
South America accounts as the largest producer of coffee in the world around 44%. It is followed by Africa, Asia and Central America at 19%, 18% and 17% respectively with the difference of just 1%. On the other hand, Oceania only contributes 2% to the production of it.
In stark contrast, Central Americans are leading the charge in consuming coffee more than 50%, while Asians use half of it at 27%. Americans at the South region, recorded approximately 1/10th of the consumption of coffee.
Shippers who trade coffee around the world are the most at advantage, nearly more than 50% of the substantial share of the profit goes to them, and half of it is trailed by the sellers. Explorers make up only 7% of the share.
