The pie chart gives data on how often U.S grown-ups did online shopping in 2015 whereas the bar graph classifies citizens’ preferences of shopping ways.
Overall, adults from US did purchasing online occasionally, while they were active in shopping in physical stores.
Turning to a pie chart, it is noticeable that it was uncommon for Us older citizens to make purchases online. The rate of shopping less often and a few times a month accounted for 37 % and 28 % respectively. However, 15% of adults from United States preferred shopping weekly from the Internet. The reverse is true for the proportion of people who never shopped online (with 20%).
Regarding to a bar chart, there is a clear domination of physical store buyers with around 65%. Similarly, the rate of monthly online shoppers purchasing in stores stood at nearly 60%. However, the largest distinction can be seen in those who preferred doing online shopping less frequently: online shopping accounted for less than 20% and shopping in physical store stood at just above 80%. On the other hand, those who did weekly shopping online comprised more than that of offline buyers ( around 60% and 38% respectively).
