The given pie charts provide information regarding the first languages spoken by students in the years 1980 and 1990 at Bakersfield senior college.
Overall, it is evident that the proportion of the english speakers was significantly higher than others in the both periods. Interestingly,there was a minor decline in percentage of Chinese language whereas the figure for the Urdu became nearly twice.
As shown in the pie charts, in 1980, exactly three quarter was the proportion of english learners in the college, which fell down to 55% in just a period of 10 years. At the same time, Urdu speakers share became almost the double of what it was in 1980, which was roughly a third of the overall proportion.
Moving towards the remaining details, those who had their mother tongue as others contributed 6%, which remained same in 1980 and 1990. However, an increase of 2% was noticed in the percentage of Chinese students.
