Following pie charts represent methods of news assessment in two countries: Canada and Australia.
Overall, both countries’ reporting methods are similar, as the majority of the pie charts show TV and online delivered information. Furthermore, Canada has more diversity where percentages are similar, whereas Australia’s news is assessed mainly by Television and Digital media.
In Canada, TV-delivered information is most abundant in the country, hitting 40%. On the other hand, online formatted news is widespread too, as the chart shows 36%, which is the second highest in Canada. Moreover, printed reports are still relevant in this country because they make up 14% of the whole amount of reports. However, Canadian people receive news less frequently by radio; it hits only 7 percent.
In contrast to Canada, Australia’s reports are delivered mostly via online mass media, as the chart illustrates (52%). Hence, TV news reports are favoured by people too, as the chart represents roughly 40% of all information. Other methods are insignificant because the sum of information given by radio, printed materials, and others is just about 10%.
