the pie charts illustrate the proportion of seafood imported from 3 different countries to the United Kingdom, and another chart shows the total value of imported seafood,
overall, sweden’s seafood exported rates to the uk were the smallest among three countries in three years, while the percentages of imported seafood were the highest, except for 1987. Additionally, in 2007, the value of imported seafood reached its peak.
regarding the pie charts. it is obvious that in 1987, Poland witnessed the highest rates at 65%, followed by Sweden and Germany, accounting for 28% and 7% respectively. however, in 1997, Sweden ranked first at 40%, which was 5% higher than that of Poland, and the rate of Germany was still the lowest at 25%. ten years later, the proportions of Germany and Sweden experienced an upward trend, while the figure for Poland slightly decreased.
In Figure 2, there was an increase over three years. in 1987, there were only 7.40 million dollars of seafood imported to the UK, peaking at the lowest point. Moreover, in 1997, it rose to 9.10 million dollars and reached its highest at 12.30 million dollars.
