The pie charts depict the number of journal articles read at an Australian university by all students, junior lecturers and PhD students on a weekly basis.

Delving into the details, all the students read at least one journal article per week, with the upper limit being 12 and more. Majority of all students (67%) read 1 to 5 articles per week. Three-quarters of junior lecturers read between 6 and 11 journals a week, alongside four-fifths of PhD students reading 12 or more journals.
While, 80% of PhD students read greater than 12 journals. This percentage is significantly higher when compared to junior lecturers and all students, at 24% and 12% respectively. In contrast, two-thirds of all students read between one and five journals a week, followed by 5% of PhD students with 1% of junior lecturers
