The two given pie charts illustrate the sources which use to generate electricity in Germany between 1980 and 2010
Overall, while natural gas and hydro became less common with electrical industry, nuclear turned into main source of this field
In 1980, the quantity of nuclear sources accounted for 20 units in total which after 30 years experienced a remarkable increase. Because of its growth in the electrical field, in 2010, Germany consumed 155 units of nuclear power to produce electricity for the nation’s needs. Over the same period, there was a slight rise in the amount of petroleum which went up by 5 units in 3 decades.
Although there was a vast distance by 21 units in hydro and natural gas in 1980, both of them ended up at the same quantity at 2 units in the next 30 years. Germany took advantage of 28 units of coal in 30 years to generate electicity to adopt residents’ consumption.
