The pie charts represent the energy types and amounts that used in Spain in year 2008 and 2017.
Overall, we can clearly see the produce of fossil energy decreased while other energy types increased in production area when we make a comparison between this two years.
As we can see the produce of fossil energy rapidly decreased with in 2017. Oil, the most produced energy type had a slight decrease in production with %4 of lost. While oil still protecting it’s throne with one of the most used enegry type in 2017, coal lost a massive appeal with it’s sharp decrease from to . On the other hand, differently from the other two fossil energy types, gas increased slightly with %1.
When we take a look to the rest of the other energy types, they are still have a much less produce ratio against the fossil energy types but the gradual increase of production of them cannot be be ignored. Firstly other category doubled it’s figure from %3 to %6 between these two years. Maybe not as much had the progress of other energy category in production but renewables also almost doubled of it’s figure in 2017. After these two types, continuning with nuclear which also having an unignorable increase with %6.
