Overall, it is evident that facebook was the largest social media channel over the period, followed by Twitter and Linkedln. In addition, there was a downward trend in Facebook, while other channels experienced an upward set trend.
The users of Facebook had the first rank in five categories in three years (between 2011 and 2013), reaching 59% in 2011. After that, this figure fell slightly to 49% in 2012 and decreased to 38% in 2013, a decline of 10%, 19% respectively compared to users in 2011. In contrast, people groups who used Google and Pinterest made up 5 in the first year before growing slightly over the two periods. Google doubled in 2012, and then this figure continued to increase to 14% in 2013. Following the trend, Pinterest had rise about users, reaching 6% and 8% respectively from 2012 to 2013.
On the other hand, the proportion of Twitter users was 21% in 2011, and then this figure rose slightly to 23% over a year and 25% in the last year. Similarly, although Linkedin accounted for 10% in the first year, this rate swelled by 5% in the last year.
