It is clear that the highest proportion of people in the 18 to 25 age group used mobile phones. By contrast, the percentage of people who used conventional TV was the lowest in the given years.
In terms of spending time on mobile phones in 2009, the percentage of users was 15%; it increased to almost double at 26% in 2019. The figure for tablet users increased by 14% in 2019, from 5% to 19%. The proportion for flat-screen TV users increased dramatically from 8% to 27%, a rise of 19% between 2009 and 2019.
For the remaining devices, the proportion of laptop users decreased from 20% to 12%, a fall of 8% between 2009 and 2019. The figure for desktop computer users experienced a slight decrease from 18% to 12% over the 10-year period. The conventional TV saw a significant drop over the following years to 4% in 2019.
