Overall, it is clear that conventional TV dominated in 2009, while mobile phone and flat-screen TV were most popular devices a decase later.
To begin with, in 2009, conventional TV accounted for a significant proportion at 34%, which is roughly double that of mobile phone at 15%. Laptop occupied a relatively smaller than conventional TV, making up 20%. The smallest proportions were tablet and flat-screen TV, constituting 5% and 8% respectively. Desktop computer accounted for 18%.
With regard to 2019, the shares of teenagers watching TV on mobile phones and flat-screen TVs were very similar, at 27% and 26%. The remaining 24% was distributed among desktop computers and laptops at 12% each. Tablets made up 19%, while conventional TV accounted for a small proportion at 4%.
