The pie charts compare the attendance rates at different courses in 1984, 1994, and 2004. The results are given in percentages.
From an overall perspective, it can be seen that face-to-face courses were always the most popular, even after a decline, while online trainings attracted the fewest people. Regarding mixed media courses and correspondence ones, they demonstrated opposite results.
In 1984, the majority of students, 67%, preferred face-to-face courses. The following years saw a downward trend, with 54% in 1994 and 40% in 2004; however, enrolment was still the highest. In contrast, statistics of online courses, which appeared in 1994, showed the lowest figures both at the beginning of the period given, 11%, and in 2004, 10%.
Having a look at the mixed media courses, it is evident that they accounted for only 13% of students in 1984; 1994 did not bring significant changes, at 15% unlike 2004 when 35% of individuals signed up for them. Contrary to them, correspondence courses interested the same number of people in 1984 and 1994, but then they experienced a reduced demand of 15%.
