The pie charts represent the different types of transportation using by workers in a particular city for the year 2005 and 2015. Generally, using car (alone) is at a highest percentage in both years, while other transportation types are variable.
In 2005, half of transportation was influenced by car (alone) whereas the workers also went by carpool at a quarter of all transports. Using buses was 15% of all transports in 2005 which was the same as in 2015. 5% of workers rode bicycle and other 5% went to their workplace on foot. The rest 10% worked at home so that they did not use any transport.
Ten years later, in 2015, use of car (alone) dropped to 35%, similarly, going by carpool decline to 20%. Riding buses and walking to work remained at 15% and 5% respectively while cycling increased to 15%. The percentage of work at home also grew up to 15%.
