These pie charts compare people who travel to a university for work or study by different vehicles in UK in 2004 and 2009. It can be clearly seen that there are a tremendous amount of percentage difference between 2004 and 2009.
Overall, car was used more than half of the people at 51% in 2004 which makes it the most used vehicle in 2004. Bus percentages follows car with the second most used vehicle at a percentage of 33%. While bus use accounted for 9%, walking and using train is the lowest proportions with 4 %and 3% in that year.
In 2009, it can be clearly seen that bus use increased to and car use fell from 51 %to 28%. However, there are also some huge increases. Especially, bicycle, which accounted for 9% in 2004, almost doubled to 16%. Both train and walking proportions increased to 4% and 6% in order.
In general, every transportation method used differently by the people who lives in UK at 2004 and 2009.
