Illustrated is a pie chart providing analytical data concerning the percentage of world population and people’s spending on education in 2000. From an overall perspective, it is apparently that the proportion of population in Asian Pacific is the highest; meanwhile the reverse is true for others regions. Furthermore, the rate of people studying in high school dominants mostly and that of further education has the lowest rate.
Deelving deeper, it can be seen that the figure for Asian Pacific’s population has the highest peak which accounts for more than a half of the total. The second highest percentage was recorded for Europe, at 11%, followed by that of Africa, at 10%. The next highest proportion were exhibited by the Latin America and Caribbean which takes up above one in tenth. This is followed by that of North American along with Middle East and Nourth Africa , at exactly 7% and 6% respectively. In contrast, the population in others regions was the least, accounting for merely 3%.
With regard to the spending on education, the rate of people who study in high school was a fifth which allocated for the highest rank. This is followed by both primary school and secondary school stand at second place which constitute a similar segment, at around a quarter (26%). The next figure were exhibited by individuals learning on university, at only 8%. On the reverse side, the lowest rate of those in further education makes up at exactly 7%.
