The two charts illustrate a city’s budget wich was allocated among five different categiries over 20-year period between 2000 and 2020.
Overall, education made up the largest figure at the beginning of the period, while transport became the highest share of city’s budget by 2020. By comparison, housing and healthcare demonstrated a decline over tha span. The proportion allocated to other segments showed slight increase within the period.
In 2000 education accounted for the highest percentage at 30%, followed by transport with 25%. The segments of other recorded only 10%, while housing and healthcare had 15% and 20% proportion in the beginning.
By contrast, despite the fact that transport was at the second place initially, in 2020 it experienced the most significant growth, overtaking education which fell by 5%. In addition, housing and healthcare showed slight approximately 10% for housing and 18% for healthcare by the end. Other was only category which rose to 12%
