The pie charts illustrate the number of students in primary schools in four different states in Australia in 2010.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that classes with more than 30 students in four states recorded the lowest rate, while the proportion of classes with less than 20 students was the most common.
According to the pie charts, Australia Capital Territory witnessed the highest rate of classes with 21 to 25 students at 51%, followed by 42% from Western Australia. Moreover, the percentage of the same classes in New South Wales is slightly higher than in the South Australia, with 37% and 33%, respectively. Australia Capital Territory was also the state that had the lowest rate of classes with more than 26 students.
In terms of the smallest sizes class, Australia still recorded the highest proportion at 38%, then 35% of the South Australia. Meanwhile, both New South Wales and Western Australia had the same rate at 26%. On the contrary, the largest class sizes in the four states had only 14% in total.
