The illustrated pie charts exemplify the average amount of consumed groceries in 3 distinct categories such as India, China and statistics about the whole world in 2008 by percentage.
At first glance, it is clearly observed that majority of individuals in those countries and world preferred processed food, rather than other options. Moreover, the second most common choice made by consumers is vegetables and fruits, besides India, whereas the minor percentage refers to nuts and seeds, which is explicitly seen from the diagram.
Particularly, the intake of processed food is near to the half of the whole number in world markets. Consequently, it is evident that this option’s value has familiar trend in India and China, 39% and 34% respectively. Moving to the vegetables and fruits figure, almost one third of global and China population devoured these fresh produce, while 27% of indian residents consumed animal products.
It is important to note that “nuts and seed” is not really common for India, which value is just over 10%, that matches with quantitative data on the entire world which is less than 5%. However, China’s information reveals that “nuts and seed” makes up 20% of the whole amount of consumed food.
