The following graph illustrates the comparison of boys and girls spending their leisure time.

In the first pie graph , academic activities such as reading attracts only 2 percent of the boys.Whereas for the percentage of the girls , this activity went up to 21 percent.This is due to the fact that a staggering 34 percent of the boys spend their free time playing video games , while less than 1 in 6 girls spend their time on computer games.The proportion of young males taking up sports as their free time activity is shockingly similar to girls, both standing at 53 and 54 percent.However , the sports such as basketball , football , and skateboarding is much more extreme than the sports the young women are interested in.

In conclusion, the vast majority of boys spend their time on significantly more extreme sports than the vast majority of girls.Whereas the percentage of the girls who read on their free time is much more than the boys.
