The pie charts depicts the percentage of expending on serveral purposes in a european country in 1958 and 2008. Overall, housing expenditure increased while expenditure for food shows to decline. I will explain this changing below this.
Focusing on 1958’s, housing expenditure is at 22% that is second highest percentage in this year. In addition, food expenditure is at 32% and this is the highest percentage in 1958. Clothing is at 18%, 8% for travel/transport, and spending for entertainment is at 13%. Lastly, European spent at 7% for luxury goods which is the lowest percentage.
Moving on to 2008’s, housing expenditure shows increasing up to 32%, and this illustrates 10% increasing. In constract, food spending decreased down to 12%. Clothing is at 16%, travel/transport is at 17%, and entertainment is at 6%. Finally, expenditure of luxury goods boosted up to 17% that grew 10%.
