The given maps depict the floor plan of the village of Pebbleton two decades ago and its current layout.
Overall, the most discernible changes is the addition of houses and some facilities such as tennis courts, children’s playground, and a community centre with a view to being more convenient.
In the northeast part of the plans, the lighthouse has remained unchanged over 20 years, while the old fort has been removed so as to make way for the children’s playground. Moreover more houses have been constructed for resident’s accommodation. To be the left-hand side of the range houses, the community centre has been built to serve village’s residents, whereas the tennis courts located directly below this area are midway between the new footpath and lighthouse land.
In the southeast side of the maps, the playing field has been maintained the same, while the film studio has been demolished and the old building was refurbished to convert into flats. A further development is the emergence of the footpath to bridge the river ,and the school as well as surrounded trees have been keeping in the same place at the bottom for two decades.
