The two maps illustrate the transformation of a natural history museum from 2010 to 2013.
Overall, the museum became more diverse and visitor-friendly, with the introduction of new facilities. It is also evident, most of the changes took place to the right side of the museum while minor alterations were observed on the left side too.
Focusing on the 2010 plan, access was from the bottom with dinosaur hall to the left, North to which was the mammals area and garden to the right. While the lobby was situated at the right wing of a dinosaur hall, ocean hall was behind the lobby.
By 2013, the museum experienced significant changes. Mammals area was replaced by ice age exhibition, including an insect room. When there had been a garden, there was a shop and a cafe that were located at the East of a lobby. In front of the shop, there was a mammals area. Other alterations included the construction of a human origins display surrounded by new facilities.
